Eco della Musica

Fabio Chiari (Drums, Percussion) studied Tabla in the traditional Indian classical music system under the guidance of his mentor Nihar Mehta and master Pooran Maharaj.

Vince Mustone (Zither), after several years of piano, turned his attention to experimental music and soundtracks. For 17 years he has been studying and producing music with the Zither (cetra), a popular German instrument from the early 1900s descended from the medieval psaltery.

Sunrise at Lake Scaffaiolo

Concert by Pasquale Mirra - vibraphone  ‘Moderately Solo’

A solo performance is one of the most challenging and risky endeavours for an artist, a moment in which talent, maturity and balance influence the music itself.

Pasquale Mirra boasts prestigious national and international collaborations, such as his duo with drummer Hamid Drake (to whom a composition is dedicated). Mirra chooses the solo as a moment of reflection, not only musical but also personal, and designs an introverted path that delves into the depths of sounds and feelings.

Moderately Solo presents all the facets, creative abilities and improvisational sensitivity of the vibraphonist, who almost subtly tells us about his private emotions and visions.

Sunday, 24 August at 3:30 p.m.
