Camugnano

The municipality lies in the Limentra di Treppio stream valley and includes Lake Suviana and the large Brasimone artificial basin.

It is an excellent solution for combining a holiday on the lakes with walks in the countryside to discover old villages, such as Bargi with a visit to the turret, an old watchtower dating back to the 17th century and home to the Museum of the Earth and the Sun (Museo della Terra e del Sole).

In the surrounding area, interesting visits include Palazzo Comelli, a historical building built on pre-existing medieval structures, and Molino Caiti, built in the 17th century and still a valuable testimony to the engineering skills of the Apennines.
