Zola Predosa

Zola Predosa, a stone's throw from Bologna, is a gem waiting to be discovered. Walking along the river paths and in the Mount Rocca naturalistic area, you can appreciate breathtaking views that reflect history: the lands of Matilda of Canossa. 

The gentle hills, dotted with vineyards, make the city a wealth of taste, thanks to Pignoletto DOCG (controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin) wine, which goes well with Mortadella PGI, two excellent local products. Such a generous area is home to sumptuous historic villas, such as Palazzo Albergati, a gem of Emilian baroque. A must-see is the Ca' La Ghironda Museum (Museo di Ca’ La Ghironda), where art and nature come together in a land-art masterpiece.
