Explore the forest with us as we search for deer roosting sites! If we are lucky, we will be able to hear their characteristic roaring, a fascinating and evocative sound that fills the air during the mating season. A short afternoon trekking at the Regional Park of Suviana and Brasimone Lakes will allow you to live this extraordinary experience immersed in nature.
Circular hike, starting from the Montagò restaurant.
The walk will take place along the Via Della Lana e della Seta (Wool and Silk Road) and some side paths, near Monteacuto Ragazza (Grizzana Morandi, BO).
We will see where the deer rut takes place.
We will understand the strategies that the king of the forest uses to build his harem and fight off rivals.
We will observe the tracks that deer leave during their nocturnal activities and their meanings.
If we are lucky, we will be able to hear their bellowing in the distance.
On our return to Montagò, we will screen unpublished photographic and video material collected in the areas around Monteacuto Ragazza.
For dinner, there will be a pizza menu in partnership with Ristorante Montagò: pizza of your choice and beer for €15 (à la carte menu also available).
The cost of dinner is not included in the price of the experience, so payment will be made directly at the cash desk at the end of the meal.
