A walk around the Pian di Balestra excavations, dating back to 1300 BC, the Lead Age. At the church in Pian di Balestra, there will be a musical interlude with MAININI MARCO, a multi-instrumentalist who will enchant participants with the Emilian piva.
A pleasant walk steeped in history to discover these places of ancient and modern origins, once theatres of war, which later became renowned tourist destinations in the 1970s, and are now frequented by hikers on the Via degli Dei, the access route to visit the Flaminia Militare, the ancient Roman road built in 187 BC on the orders of the consul Gaius Flaminius, which linked Bononia to Arettium, and used in the Middle Ages by pilgrims, where we will discover the historical curiosities of this stretch, considered an archaeological gem.
